Flipkart, on Thursday, announced a partnership with Hopscotch, a leading Indian kids fashion brand. Flipkart will make a wide variety of Hopscotch clothing available across the country, as parents continue to trust e-commerce for their shopping needs because it provides them with a vast range of options and high-quality products.
With this deal, Flipkart has expanded its branded portfolio to deliver on its value proposition of providing high-quality premium branded products to more than 400 million registered customers across the country.
Most of the Flipkart customers shopping for branded kids clothes nowadays are between the ages of 25 and 40, and these parents are more concerned about fabric composition and branded items for their children. Flipkart, with a majority of new customers coming from T2+ regions, has seen a 60 percent YoY growth in the branded kids fashion market in the last year.
