On India’s Most Popular Streaming Service, the Kiwis Find a Home. Customers with Amazon Prime Video will be able to watch live international cricket matches in New Zealand, including the Indian Women’s and Men’s Cricket Teams’ trips in February and November 2022, respectively.
The New Zealand men’s squad, which is currently ranked first in ODI and second in Test cricket by the International Cricket Council (ICC), has an interesting series scheduled in 2022 against Bangladesh, South Africa, Australia, and the Netherlands, in addition to India.
Amazon Prime Video, India’s most popular entertainment site, is giving its customers a New Year’s gift when it launches live cricket streaming on January 1, 2022, with a test series between New Zealand and Bangladesh. Prime Video became the first streaming provider in India to obtain exclusive live cricket rights from a major cricketing governing body in November 2020. International men’s and women’s cricket matches played in New Zealand – including ODI, T20, and test matches – will be available exclusively on Prime Video as part of the multi-year agreement.
Members of Prime will be able to watch the highly anticipated series between the Indian and New Zealand Women’s Cricket Teams in February 2022, as well as the Indian and New Zealand Men’s Cricket Teams in November 2022. In addition, matches between the Men’s teams are now scheduled to be played as part of Bangladesh’s tour of New Zealand in January 2022, South Africa’s tour in February 2022, Australia’s tour in March 2022, and the Netherlands’ tour in March/April 2022.
The test series between New Zealand and Bangladesh will be the first to be broadcast on Prime Video, with the opening match scheduled for Bay Oval in Auckland, New Zealand, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga from January 1 to 5, and the second test match set to take place at Hagley Oval, Christchurch from January 9 to 13. Prime members may watch each day’s play live at 3:30 a.m. IST. Cricket fans may watch a variety of cricket programming and highlights in the build-up to matches, as well as watch match highlights on the service quickly after the match has ended.
