TCS Ranks Number 1 in Customer Satisfaction in the Nordics

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), on Friday, announced that it has been ranked number one for customer satisfaction in an independent survey of CxOs from top IT spending organizations in the Nordics, by Whitelane Research.

For the 13th year in a row, the IT firm has led the customer satisfaction rankings, with an overall satisfaction score of 82 percent, compared to the industry average of 72 percent. The 2022 IT Sourcing Study by Whitelane Research is based on responses from 350 CIOs and key decision makers from across the Nordics. The study looked into over 680 different IT sourcing relationships to evaluate service providers based on nine KPIs (KPIs).

TCS demonstrated strong results across multiple dimensions and KPIs. It ranked number 1 for:

  • Business Understanding (84% compared to the average of 74%)
  • Service Delivery Quality (82% compared to the average of 74%)
  • Contractual Flexibility (87% compared to the average of 72%)

TCS also ranked first in customer satisfaction in all of the report’s IT domains, including application development, maintenance, and testing; data centres, managed infrastructure, and hosting; and end-user services.

The three major reasons for companies in the Nordics to outsource IT operations, according to the survey, are to improve scalability to meet business goals (63 percent), focus on core business (61 percent), and gain access to people and resources (53 percent).

Since 1991, TCS has had a presence in the Nordic region, with over 20,000 workers helping major customers in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark in their growth and transformation efforts. According to Brand Finance, the world’s premier brand valuation agency, TCS is the world’s second most valuable IT services brand. The Top Employers Institute recently designated it Europe’s #1 Top Employer.
