L&T gets the construction contract super-specialty hospital part of the Warangal Health City

The Government of Telangana has given the Health sector of the company an order to build a super-specialty hospital in Warangal on a Design & Build Turnkey basis with strict timelines. The project includes the construction of a 1750-bed super specialty hospital as part of Telangana’s Warangal Health City. When finished, it will be one of the state’s largest hospitals with modern facilities, as well as the country’s tallest hospital structure.

The project includes the construction of several ancillary buildings in addition to the 1750 bed hospital complex, which has a configuration of Basement + Ground + 23 stories. The buildings will have a total built-up area of 1.65 million square feet. Anesthesia, Dermatology, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, and other departments are included in the state-of-the-art facility. It also comprises medical equipment supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, as well as LINAC, PET CT, 300 ICU beds, 25 Modular OTs, and medical equipment supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. Dharamshala, Kitchen & Dining Block, Creche, and Utility Building will be built on a 43-acre site.

Civil structure finishes, and associated MEP services such as medical gas pipe, modular OT, pneumatic tube system, as well as external road and landscape work are all part of the scope of work.

Furthermore, the Residential BU has been awarded a contract to build a residential township in Nagothane, Maharashtra, by a reputable client.

This project’s scope of work covers all parts of the construction of 36 residential towers, including RCC shell and core, finishing, MEP, and related exterior development works. The project is expected to take 18 months to complete.
