Tech Mahindra, a major provider of digital transformation, consultancy, and business re-engineering services and solutions, stated today that it will add 1000 jobs in the UK and develop new income streams. At Tech Mahindra’s Makers Lab in Milton Keynes, the tech giant will engage with a top UK academia and research institute to co-innovate. Makers Lab is a research and development center that collaborates with customers, partner firms, research institutes, universities, and start-ups to develop future solutions and services.
This follows British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s comments during his visit to India on a new UK-India Artificial Intelligence collaboration. The program intends to boost both countries’ innovation and economy while also leveraging the power of new technology to address global concerns. Tech Mahindra is one of the top technology Indian investors in the UK, and the Tech Mahindra Makers Lab, in collaboration with academics and research institutes, will support the NXT of AI growth in the UK and across the company’s 90+ countries of operation.

The collaboration with university and research institutes will allow Tech Mahindra to create more jobs and create an eco-system of interns and scholars to promote AI and Data Science innovation.
