HCL Technologies to Acquire Quest Informatics

HCL Technologies (HCL), a prominent global technology business, announced that it will acquire Quest Informatics Private Limited (Quest), a Bengaluru-based aftermarket, Industry 4.0, an IoT company, in an all-cash purchase through its wholly-owned subsidiary.

“Quest will help expand HCL Technologies’ Industry 4.0 offerings into the fast-growing aftermarket space. Quest’s suite of aftermarket solutions and products will be valuable to transportation and manufacturing clients globally in their digital transformation journey. Additionally, Quest’s existing customers will benefit through HCL Technologies’ scale, reach and R&D prowess,”

said Sukamal Banerjee, Corporate Vice President, Industry Software Division and IoT WoRKS, HCL Technologies.

Quest’s cloud-based aftermarket ERP, field service management, and digital parts catalogue product suites are being used by more than 40 worldwide aftermarket companies. One of the fastest-growing categories in the transportation and manufacturing industries is aftermarket digital spending.

The deal is expected to be complete before July 31, 2022.
