Infosys, a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, and Palo Alto Networks, the world’s leading cybersecurity company, announced a 360-degree partnership to help large enterprises with mission-critical digital landscapes improve their security maturity and reduce the risk of cyberattacks on their critical infrastructure.

Infosys and Palo Alto Networks will combine their expertise to speed the development of cutting-edge network security solutions, which will be delivered via Infosys’ global network of security operations centers. Infosys and Palo Alto Networks will improve these security solutions for their global clients, including Mercedes-Benz.

Through the Infosys Cyber Defense Centre network, Infosys Cyber Next platform offers comprehensive managed security services and delivers rapid security maturity supported by Palo Alto Networks Cortex® XSOAR to over 35 global enterprises on Wednesday. Several businesses around the world are using Infosys SASE-as-a-service powered by Palo Alto Networks Prisma SASE to gain Zero Trust access to resources in the cloud and in their data centers. A leading global mining company based in Australia, for example, used the solution to transform its security landscape by adopting a cloud-first approach to cyber-security. Another example is an American investment management firm partnering with Infosys to use Palo Alto Networks Cloud NGFW solutions to protect their cloud workloads from sophisticated threats.

“It’s imperative for organizations to rethink their cybersecurity strategy as part of their digital transformation. Together with Infosys, we are securing enterprises at every stage of the business lifecycle, minimizing security risks while maximizing visibility of the security threat, impact and resolution. It’s a powerful partnership that will equip and empower our joint customers well.”

Nikesh Arora, CEO of Palo Alto Networks, said.

Furthermore, Palo Alto Networks and Infosys will combine solutions to enable global organizations to secure hybrid cloud infrastructure from a single unified platform, maximizing existing investments and integrating SASE and Zero-Trust architecture components. Next-generation security solutions and platform-based managed services will be available. Prisma SASE from Palo Alto Networks offers an agile approach and Zero Trust posture for securing users, applications, and traffic, and it uses machine learning-powered threat prevention to instantly stop 95% of web-based threats inline. Customers can gain unrivaled visibility and protection across public, private, and hybrid clouds by combining Infosys cloud security services with Palo Alto Networks Prism® Cloud.

“Cyber incidents are as much a part of the new business reality as our growing reliance on digitalization with the proliferation of endpoint devices, and the vulnerabilities inherent in hybrid and remote-work setups. The competitive divide between winners and the others will stem from their ability to transform in response. Our strategic collaboration with Palo Alto Networks will help us create greater value faster for our clients as they look to secure their transformation landscapes even as they adapt in real time to ongoing dynamic shifts,”

Ravi Kumar S, President, Infosys, said.

Without sacrificing performance or scalability, Infosys is fully committed to developing deep expertise in network, cloud, and workplace security, as well as SASE and security operations. To help drive this agenda, Infosys has trained cybersecurity professionals in a variety of technologies, including Palo Alto Networks solutions. Infosys’ ability to help enterprises achieve regulatory compliance faster, improve the security posture for mission-critical applications, and effectively secure even legacy devices in their network will be bolstered by these trained experts and their collaboration with Palo Alto Networks.
